Infinite Reality Acquires Landvault, a Sure Valley Ventures portfolio company, for $450 Million

9 July 2024Infinite Reality (iR), an innovation company powering the next generation of digital media and ecommerce through AI and immersive technologies, has acquired Landvault, a Sure Valley Ventures (SVV) portfolio company, for $450 million.

Landvault is a leading immersive web company that builds infrastructure for the 3D internet,
to create a better, fairer internet. Via their platform, they offer a suite of AI-powered tools to build, publish, and monetize your immersive experiences.

Landvault has raised over $40 million from top global investors and helped over hundreds of clients enter the metaverse, including top organisations and brands like the Abu Dhabi government, Mastercard, L’Oreal, RedBull and Heineken.

iR, valued at $5.1 billion, provides world-class tools and services that enable creators and companies to develop fully realized immersive experiences. iR plans to leverage Landvault’s substantial presence in the Middle East and Europe to support their plans for market expansion and to help establish the Infinite Reality brand as a global leader in immersive tech. The Company has also announced a $350 million equity investment by a private multi family office today, which will be deployed immediately to accelerate growth.

SVV initially invested in Admix, which rebranded as Landvault following a merger in 2022, in a $2.1m seed round in 2018, alongside Force over Mass, Founders Factory and other investors. This was the seventh investment from SVV Fund 1. Admix went on to raise a $7m Series A round and $25m Series B round, which SVV participated in alongside leading investors like Elefund, DIP Capital, Notion Capital and Kuvi Capital.

Landvault’s merger with Admix in June 2022 enabled them to become a one-stop-shop offering for brands looking to enter the metaverse. The Company has since gone from strength to strength, expanding from the UK to Dubai, Riyadh and Cairo.

Barry Downes, Managing Partner, Sure Valley Ventures commented: “We have had the privilege of partnering with Landvault’s CEO Sam Huber since 2018, when we invested in his vision to help creators build and monetise immersive worlds. Sam has consistently been one step ahead of the competition, working tirelessly to transform the company into the leading immersive web company it is today. Landvault is a great example of the type of disruptive technology businesses we partner with at Sure Valley Ventures, helping them to grow and scale globally through our platform model. We wish the team every success in their next chapter with Infinite Reality.”

Following the acquisition, the teams will be integrated, and Landvault will remain as the Middle East arm of Infinite Reality, growing their investment across the region, expanding their footprint and supporting ongoing projects and client relationships.

Sam Huber, founder and CEO of Landvault, will take on the new role of Global President of Enterprise and CEO of the MENA Region, further strengthening Infinite Reality’s presence and strategic initiatives in the region. As it continues its go-public strategy in the US, the Company’s newly expanded global structure also paves a path towards a potential dual listing, including an IPO on the Abu Dhabi exchange (ADX).
