SVV open-sources the AI workflows powering its investment team

SVV has launched AgenticInvestor.org, a free open-source platform giving the wider investor community access to the agent-based workflows SVV has built and refined across its own investment operations.

Wednesday 1 Juy 2026: SVV (Sure Valley Ventures) has launched AgenticInvestor.org, a free, open-source platform and community built to help venture capital firms and other private market investors move from AI experimentation to the deployment of AI agents across their day-to-day operations.

The platform has been developed directly from SVV's own investment processes and provides a structured toolbox of workflows, tasks, skills and agent blueprints compatible with more than 50 AI platforms — including OpenAI Codex, Claude, Alludium and Microsoft Copilot. The initial release centres on the Deal Pipeline Blueprint, which covers 20 tasks and 19 skills across investment screening, opportunity evaluation and IC memo creation. The workflows are designed to reduce repeatable work across the investment lifecycle while preserving human investment judgement at each decision point.

The gap AgenticInvestor addresses is a practical one. European venture firms have broadly adopted AI in limited ways — 34% use it to summarise due diligence materials and 26% to surface relevant deals — but the step from querying a language model to embedding agents into repeatable, production workflows has remained elusive for most. SVV's own implementation has produced measurable results: company screening now takes half the time it previously did, while the team has seen material time savings in preparing diligence packs, following up with founders and maintaining CRM accuracy and consistency.

By publishing the workflows it has built internally and building an open community around them, SVV is positioning AgenticInvestor as a shared infrastructure layer for the asset class — one that can raise the operational baseline across venture and give investment teams more capacity for the work that requires human judgement: evaluating founders, building conviction, and supporting portfolio companies.

Barry Downes, Managing Partner, SVV and Founder of AgenticInvestor, said: "Venture capital is about to undergo the biggest operating model shift in its history. Most firms are still using AI as a research assistant. We believe the next stage is agentic execution, where AI systems carry out meaningful work throughout the investment process. We've spent the last year building and refining these workflows inside SVV, and AgenticInvestor is our way of sharing what we've learned - and collaborating with the wider investor community

"As investors, time is our most valuable asset, but too much of it gets taken up by repeatable operational work. AgenticInvestor is about giving firms that time back, while building a community where investors can share what works and learn from each other."
