01What it is

Plan at least eighteen months; the grid holds thirty. It plans cash collected rather than revenue recognised, with hosting and model inference as their own line, and every hire costed in full, including employer pension and national insurance or PRSI.

What’s inside

  • Inputs: opening cash, dates, people today and cost lines
  • Hires: planned hires with start months and costs
  • Cash plan: the monthly grid
  • Summary: the cash-out month, runway and raise date

Start here. Enter opening cash, the first month, your people today and the non-people costs. Add the next two or three hires and twelve months of collected revenue, then read the Summary.

Every file comes filled in with a worked example for Northlight AI Ltd, a fictional company. Blue cells are yours to overwrite; white cells calculate. Formats show £: for €, change the currency format on the number cells.
